Crowns playwright Regina Taylor was on the show today. You may know her from her role as Lily Harper on the TV show I Fly Away (1991-1993) or maybe you caught her last night on CBS as Molly Blaine in The Unit.

Taylor will be SLC January 25 for the Utah premiere of Crowns, which revolves around black women and the hats they wear to church. Now that's a really simple explanation.
